17 optimistic paddlers headed for Redfield and the Salmon River under increasingly dark skies on Memorial Day. Luck with with us though and the rain held off until our leisurely 7 mile paddle was finished and the kayaks loaded for the trip back. Fisherman on the banks and bridges seemed to be having good fortune along our way and wildlife was abundant.
16 hungry paddlers (Kevin had too much work to do) headed to the Reservoir Inn and listened to the rain patter outside while enjoying a delicious dinner served for us by a very welcoming staff. An interesting factoid was that Bill Delaney really likes fruit (any kind) in his Guinness beer. An enjoyable time was had by all.
