The fourth Sunday of August the weather was again overcast, slightly windy and coolish but tolerable, for a head count of 35 paddlers on the beach at Lakeview Marsh although the heads did not stay still for very long following partaking of a picnic of assorted tasty fingerfoods.  Jody Papworth had made her maiden voyage in a borrowed kayak who said she liked paddling as did newcomers Amie and Kyle, also in borrowed boats on their maiden voyages.  Finally Jim Hunter rejoined us appearing fit as a fiddle following his ruined summer of having a horrific viral illness.  Playing in small waves of 80 degree water, a game of musical boats, and rolling lessons from Kitt had the afternoon fly by very fast.  No mishaps occurred, especially to Kim Bliss.  Following returning to our Montario Point put-in 14 diners proceeded to The Waterfront Restaurant in Brewerton for dinner just in time for the threatened rain to arrive.  A good time was had by all, again.
