Slide Show       Last Sunday 6 kayak club members left the yard chores behind and enjoyed paddling for 9 miles in the  winding, scenic Owasco inlet.  Rick, Cindy, Sue, Dan, Kim W and Patty Y paddled their way upsteam under beautiful sunny skies through water blanketed with falling leaves and trees that had fallen during the summer.   Late blooming purple flowers and sturdy tree trunks reaching skyward were clinging to the banks of the inlet during this low water period while deer and birds watched our pro-gress.  Clouds thickened after the short break and while the paddle back was much cooler, the current carried us quickly back to the put in (not really sure how fast cause this was a low tech paddle, none of us had a GPS).
