Annual Kick Off Banquet
Special Notice - Because of weather conditions, the paddle before the banquet has been canceled. For people who have already signed up and paid for the banquet, we look forward to seeing you there. The banquet begins at 1:00 PM.
The 2007 Season Kick-Off Banquet will happen on Sunday, April 15th at Castaways on Oneida Lake in Brewerton. We will be in the main dining room, beginning at 1p.m. for a buffet dinner. So mark your calendar! Details on a paddle to precede the banquet will be posted later.
Directions from Syracuse: From Syracuse, take Route 81 north and get off at the Brewerton exit. At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Bartell Road and proceed to Route 11. Turn right on Route 11. Cross over the bridge and turn right at the first light after the bridge. Continue to Castaways. The GPS coordinates are N43° 14.414 and W076° 07.924.
The cost is $17 per person, BUT that will include your 2007 (free) member dues! So everyone who comes to the banquet basically gets their membership for free (the buffet actual cost is $17 per person). Get your reservation in the mail by April 9th or drop it off at the Camillus Kayak Shop.
Below you will find the form to fill out for the banquet also please print out the waiver for 2007 and sign it and return with banquet form. It is one form per member or family. If you are bringing a guest who is not a paddler, just include them on your form in the reservation count - no need to give the name. Let Kathy know if you have any questions.
