This trip is at the less populated and more scenic
end of the Lake. Conditions
may vary depending on wind and waves. Be sure to bring your spray skirt.
Please be sure that you are properly dressed for the paddle and have all appropriate equipment. We will meet at the
launch site at 1:00 PM.
Directions to Launch Site: From Route 20 in
Skanealeles, take Route 41 south along the east side of the lake. Continue south
along Route 41 and continue
through the flashing light in Borodino. Approximately 7.6 miles south of
Borodino near the Cortland County Line you will make a right turn onto Vincent
Hill Road. At the end of Vincent Hill Road, make a right turn onto Glen Haven
Road and then take your next left. Continue about 100 yards and you will
see a right turn into the Town of Scott Family Park which is where we will
launch. The GPS coordinates are N42° 45.641‚ and W 076° 16.086.
