Kickoff Banquet

Dinner will be at the Fireside Inn Baldwinsville at 1pm on Sunday, April 6th. Reservations received with 2008 Waiver (from website) by March 22nd will have complimentary 2008 Paddling membership! Send completed waiver and check for $18 per person to CNY Kayakers, 4930 Kasson Rd, Syr, NY 13215. If reserving for more than one membership, make sure to include all names for cards. We are looking forward to seeing everybody and starting the new paddling season.

We have also scheduled a before banquet paddle on Sunday morning. We will be paddling on the Seneca river in Baldwinsville. Meet at 10:30 AM for a 10:45 AM launch at Mercer Park in the Village of Baldwinsville. Because of the time of year, this trip is only for experienced paddlers who are properly prepared for cold weather and cold water conditions. Be sure to have all the appropriate equipment.

Since weather conditions can change rapidly at this time of year, we strongly suggest that you check the Web site both Saturday night and Sunday morning in the event that the plans need to be changed or the paddle needs to be canceled.

Directions To The Launch Site: Take Route 690 north from Syracuse and exit at the Route 370 Balwinsville exit. Drive east. After you pass the Fireside Inn (the site of our banquet) take your first right turn to Mercer Park.
