Salmon River Reservoir

This is a popular trip and is approximately 7-8 miles in length. The launch site is at the boat launch in Redfield. We will meet at 12:30 PM at the C&M Diner which is located at the Pulaski exit of Rt. 81 north and caravan from there. You will see the diner (which is no longer open) on your right at the top of the exit ramp. Please be sure that you are properly dressed for the paddle and have all appropriate equipment.

If you wish to meet us at the launch site, turn right at the end of the Rt. 81 north (Pulaski) exit ramp onto Rt. 13 east. Turn left onto County Rt. 2A. After you cross the river, take the first right onto Centerville Road and then the first left onto Peck Road and follow Peck Road to the T-intersection at County Rt. 2. Turn right on County Rt. 2. Stay on County Rt. 2 through Richland and Orwell until you come to the T-intersection at County Rt. 17. Turn right onto County Rt. 17 and continue through Redfield. After you cross a bridge and come to an intersection, you will see the launch on your right. The GPS coordinates are: N43° 31.395 and W075° 48.996.
