Jack's Reef to Cross Lake
Sunday, June 7, 2009
Approximately 7 Miles
Two Groups

A nice leisurely paddle on the Seneca River out onto Cross Lake. This is a good novice paddle, unless it's windy on Cross Lake which can cause some waves or chop. A spray skirt would be helpful. Please be sure that you are properly dressed for the paddle and have all appropriate equipment. There is an island in the middle of the lake that just begs a stop for snacks (This depends on the water level).

The paddle will begin at 1 PM at the Jack's Reef Port O Call. We have been asked to move cars across the street from the restaurant after unloading.

After our paddle, all are welcome to join Gene and I for a bonfire. Restaurants will be slamming, so we thought we'd offer a picnic. We'll supply the grill and some munchies. Please bring meat to grill, dish to pass, and your beverage of choice. Please RSVP at 635-8151, leaving a message on the machine or e-mail tishevans@excite.com if you think you might be there and what you are bringing to share. We'll fill in to make sure no one goes home hungry!
