Inlet/Limekiln Lake Overnight
Camp and Paddle - Labor Day Weekend
09/04-07/2009

We will be camping at Limekiln Lake beginning with a paddle on Friday for those who can arrive early, with paddles on nearby Fulton Chain Lakes the following 3 days to be decided upon by the group. Other opportunities for recreating are nearby such as golf, hiking, bicycle riding, fishing, and (gasp!) shopping. Some campsites have been reserved in the vicinity of #107, which is on the lakeside, with sites #95 through #123 being in close proximity. Reservations need to be made ASAP through Reserve America Online. All food and beverages need to be brought by individuals. Be advised there is a bear-proof food locker provided at each campsite per the campground brochure. We traditionally have voluntary "get-together" meals at campsites with a restaurant dinner excursion at least one night and anyone is free to cook for themselves on their campsite. The all-important evening group campfire is a highlight.

Directions From Old Forge: North on Rt 28 through Inlet then turn right on Limekiln Lake Road, go for 1.5 miles then turn right at campground sign, a half mile to campground entrance booth.

Please Note: Directions for each trip are provided to help people unfamiliar with the area to find the location of the trip. They are not meant to necessarily be the most direct route from your own location.
