"Let the Season Begin "

This is the beginning of another great paddling season. Our paddle has been scheduled for Sunday, March 8th. We will be paddling on the Seneca River. Because of the time of year, this trip is only for experienced paddlers who are properly prepared for cold weather and cold water conditions.

Because weather conditions can change rapidly at this time of year, we strongly suggest that you check the Web site Sunday morning in the event that the plans need to be changed or the trip needs to be canceled.

We will be launching from the West Lake Trail Parking Lot at Longbranch Park. Launch time is 1:00 PM. All paddlers must wear a US Coast Guard approved PFD. For those who are interested, we will be going to a local establishment for food and beverage after the paddle. We will select a local establishment while at the launch site.

Directions To The Launch Site: Take Route 370 north from the village of Liverpool. After you cross the bridge over the NYS Thruway, turn left onto Longbranch Road. Follow Longbranch Road across the single lane steel bridge. The launch site is at the West Shore Trail parking area which is on your left after you cross the bridge.
