Salmon River Reservoir Launch Site
This
is
a
popular
trip
and
is
approximately
7-8
miles
in length. The launch
site is at the boat launch in Redfield. Please be sure that you
are properly dressed for the paddle and have all appropriate equipment.
Directions From Syracuse: Take Rt 81 north to the Mexico exit (Rt. 104). Take route 104 east to route 13. Turn right on Rt. 13. Follow Rt. 13 to County Rt. 17 and turn left on to County Rt 17. Follow County Rt 17 to Redfield. The launch site is on the left before the bridge. To see a more detailed map, click where it says "View Salmon River Reservoir in a larger map" at the bottom of the map. The GPS coordinates are: N43° 31.395 and W075° 48.996. We will launch at 1:00 PM.
